Since all our "daily computers" got converted into Macs, I thought of Malia's old computer as a nice media station. So, the old S6 I was once, when I was young and beautiful and Malia fell in love with me, I managed to put in a new hard drive, connected it to the TFT and installed Windows Vista again. Everything went smooth and seemed to run fine. Time to initiate stage two, the connection to the LCD TV. All cables plugged in, booting just fine, crystal clear picture and a big smile on my face.
So I searched the attic for the old wireless keyboard, installed it and sat down on the couch again...nothing happend. No mouse click, no keyboard response. Hmmm, maybe it has a limited range I thought, so I moved a bit closer....and closer....and closer and found myself in cable range when it started to work. Pffffft.....nice.
A quick research on the internet for another Logitech product brought the following result:

Not so bad I thought, especially since Amazon was able to deliver it to Luxembourg for free within 3 days! Deal! During those 3 days I spent most of the time laying on the wooden floor 1m (3 feet for the US readers) in front of a 40" LCD screen. I felt a bit stupid but hey, wind uhm...keyboard of change is coming.
As promised, Amazon delivered the new gadget after 3 days, I opened the package and was quite surprised. I bought the item to sit on the couch and control the media centre from there, without moving closer...
And this is what I had to read:
Uhm, what? "Designed to move you"? WTF? I wanted to sit on the couch and control it from there, why are they talking about moving me? :(
